This is a good quality large Mid-Century Silver Plate 3 Sconce Candelabrum. The candelabrum is in Egyptian Revival, Neo-Georgian style with an oval fluted base, which is weighted for stability, a columnar stem and oval sconces with geometric decoration. The sconces have normal age ware.
The candelabrum was made in Birmingham by the firm A.E. Williams & Sons as part of their Falstaff Plate range and dates to around the 1950s / 60s. The firm was founded by Arnold E Williams at the Arnewill Works, Vyse Street, Birmingham in 1927, later becoming A.E. Williams & Sons. They registered the brand name Falstaff for their silver plate in 1949 and also used the brand name Pendragon. In the seventies they moved most of their production to Spain and ceased trading in the late eighties.
Condition is very good, with no dings or dents and just the superficial surface wear and plate loss that has to be expected with use and the passage of time. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

An impressive Egyptian inspired silver plated three-arm candelabra. Resting on an oval base and trimmed with dragooned borders; the arms have a reeded design.

The base is marked with the Falstaff trademark, Silver Plated and Made In England.
