Vintage 1950s Seymour De Luxe 17-Jewel Manual-Wind Watch

Description: A wonderfully character-rich mid-century Swiss mechanical watch from Seymour De Luxe. It features a heavily patinated golden-champagne dial styled with a crosshair sub-seconds register at the 6 o'clock position, distinct mid-century Arabic numerals at 3, 6, and 9, and matching luminous syringe-style hands. The most fascinating element is its elaborately stamped screw-down case back, packed with an array of vintage marketing boasts including "Superfine 6512", "Tropicalized", "Diamond Tooled", "Radar Tested", and "Lifetime Mainspring".

Condition: Pre-owned/vintage project piece. The mechanical movement is currently not running and is being sold strictly as-is for parts, repair, or a full restoration project. The dial exhibits a deep, uniform golden "tropical" age patina with some light surface spotting.
