Description: A highly desirable mid-century Swiss mechanical automatic watch from luxury maker Tissot. It features a beautifully aged, champagne-toned sector dial with a textured, split-patina appearance. The dial layout includes prominent applied gold-toned Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 interspaced with dagger/arrow hour markers, luminous-accented dauphine hands, and a fine dotted inner minute track. It features the vintage script Tissot logo and is marked "AUTOMATIC" and "SWISS MADE" at the base. The watch head is housed in a robust stainless steel round case with prominent lugs.
Condition: Pre-owned/vintage project piece. The automatic mechanical movement is currently not running and is being sold strictly as-is for parts, repair, or full restoration. Reflecting its genuine age, the dial face shows heavy, uniform tropical spotting and honest oxidation on the hands and indices. The steel case exhibits typical micro-scratches and minor dirt build-up around the lugs, while the acrylic crystal lens shows fine scuffs.
