This playful pair of vintage framed prints features two mischievous boys rendered in the expressive big-eyed style that became popular in decorative art during the 1960s. Signed by F. Fleiser, the scenes capture classic childhood moments one boy scratching his head in confusion while the other appears to have landed himself in a spot of trouble. The exaggerated features and gentle humour give the pieces their unmistakable mid-century character.

Although not widely documented, the name F. Fleiser appears on a number of decorative prints produced for the home décor market during the 1960s and early 1970s. These sentimental illustrations were especially popular as wall décor thanks to their emotional expressions and playful storytelling. Both prints are housed in matching wooden frames behind glass and work particularly well as a pair. Each framed print measures approximately 24.5 cm x 48.5 cm.

Condition is very good. The colours remain strong and vibrant, likely helped by the fact that the prints were not exposed to harsh sunlight over the years. The frames are in good condition with some light age-related wear visible, entirely consistent with vintage pieces of this age. A fun and nostalgic decorative pair that captures the humour of childhood.
