Vintage 1960s Wright Studios USA Mouse Holding Berrie Cast Iron Door Stop / Favourite Book Holder

THIS IS NOT YOUR ORDINARY DOORSTOP. WRIGHT STUDIOS FROM PENNSYLVANIA USA WAS KNOWN TO MAKE SOME BEAUTIFUL HAND PAINTED CAST IRON DOORSTOPS. THIS IS ONE SUCH DOORSTOP IN THE SHAPE OF A CUTE MOUSE HOLDING A BERRIE.
 
THERE IS A FENCE GATE AT THE BACK WITH TWO TREES WITH A LANE IN BETWEEN. ALTHOUGH IT CAN EASILY BE USED AS A DOOR STOP IT WILL ALSO ACT AS YOUR FAVOURITE BOOK HOLDER NEXT TO YOUR BED. THE PAINTWORK IS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL. IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.

CONDITION: IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION. COLOURS STILL BRIGHT. STRUCTURALLY GOOD.
 
JOHN WRIGHT STUDIOS (1947-present):
John Wright began in 1947 and started to manufacture souvenirs and gifts on the banks of the Susquehanna River in Wrightsville, Pennsylvania. In the 1960s, through mergers and acquisitions, they acquired the complete product line of the Wrightsville Hardware Company, dating back to 1880 over 135 years of product line history.
In the 1980s, when market trends shifted away from cast iron toys and novelties, Wright Studios branched out into steel and stainless steel hardware products too. In 2017, they also added custom manufacturing capabilities to serve their customers needs for special hardware parts in low volumes with quick lead times.
