ON AUCTION IS A 1969 TRIPOLEY BOARD GAME. IT IS A BILINGUAL EDITION BY PARKER BROTHERS. TRIPOLEY IS A COMBINATION OF MICHIGAN RUMMY, HEARTS AND POKER IN THE SAME BOX. WITH LARGE FOLD OUT VINYL PLAYING MATT, DECK OF CARDS AND PLAYING CHIPS. GAME INSTRUCTIONS ON LEAFLET.

Tripoley is a combination card and board game where players collect chips by playing three different games in sequence: a poker round to win chips from the board's center "kitty," a Michigan Rummy round to play cards from their hands onto specific spots on the board, and a Hearts-like round where players try to get rid of their cards by playing sequential cards in suit. The player with the most chips at the end of the game wins.  

Tripoley is a modern version of the ancient European game Poch and is known as Rummoli, Michigan Rummy, or Royal Rummy in North America. The Tripoley Deluxe mat is a best-selling family classic, known for being a family favorite for over 75 years. It modern game was first introduced in 1937. 

THIS GAME IS IN GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION. THERE ARE NO MISSING PIECES. THE VINYL GAME MATT IS IN GOOD CONDITION AND LOOKS LIKE IT WAS RARELY USED. INSTRUCTIONS ARE INCLUDED. THE BOX HAS RUBBING AND SHELF WEAR ON THE OUTSIDE BUT IT IS VERY STURDY.
