Who made it: The sculpture was created by Curtis Jere, a collaboration between artists Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels. When and where: The sculpture is a mid-century modern piece, likely from the 1960s. The artists' studio, Artisan House, was established in California. The two artists produced "gallery-quality art for the masses". Freiler was the production chief and Fels was the head of design. This particular style, often described as Brutalist, was produced during the mid-20th century, specifically the 1960s to 1970s.
