On offer is a beautiful and rare vintage ladies' Camy automatic mechanical timepiece in good working condition.
This circa 1970s Camy Geneve Superatomatic Queens Club features an original sunburst golden brown dial, a gold-plated steel case, and a gold-plated crown.
It comes on a used gold-plated bracelet (Expandro West Germany, from the 1970s era), which shows plating wear, allowing the watch to fit a 17 cm wrist.
*The bracelet could be replaced with a new leather or gold-plated bracelet for a fresh look and/or to fit a particular wrist size*.
Dimensions:
case width (excluding crown): 26 mm, case thickness: 8 mm, lug width: 15 mm, lug to lug: 29 mm.
Dial and Hands:
The sunburst golden brown round dial is in excellent original condition. The raised hour markers are gold, and the minute markers are white for great visibility. The dial is marked in white text Camy, Geneve, Superautomatic and "T Swiss Made T", with a non-quick-set day/date window at 3 oclock. Gold hour, minute, and second hands.
Case, Crown and Crystal :
The thick and big gold-plated stainless steel case (with Camy marked screw-down case-back) unapologetically shouts 1970s style. The case is in good overall condition (no dents), although it shows some age-related wear (wear to plating on edges) and scratches. The crown is Camy marked. The acrylic crystal has some scratches.
Movement :
ETA 2678 (automatic, day-date) 17 jewels, which is Camy branded on the rotor.
It is running well (all functions operational) and keeping very good time (based on a 24-hour period).
It was checked by a watchmaker, but it was not professionally serviced. Service history is unknown.
