3 Vintage 1970's Smurfs up for auction
They are made by PEYO (WEST GERMANY)
All smurfs are clearly marked underneath. The one smurf also has a Schleich marking underneath it's foot.
All ornaments are made of durable, painted PVC.
According to my research, they were all produced in 1972.
1) The first smurf is called the "vanity smurf". It stands 5cm tall. Marked W. GERMANY - PEYO under foot. Figurine is depicted holding a little red mirror and looking into it.
2) The second smurf is called the "flower smurf". It stands 5.5cm tall. Marked W. GERMANY - PEYO - SCHLEICH under foot. Figurine is depicted holding a bouquet of red flowers and also has a heart impression on his chest.
3) The third smurf is called the "crying smurf". It stands 5cm tsll. Marked W. GERMANY - PEYO under foot. Figurine is depicted with a tear running down his cheek and holding a yellow hankie, Unfortunately the hankie has broken off.
