VINTAGE 1980S STYLISH EVERHOT ENGLAND INSULATED TEAPOT
A 1980'S EVERHOT INSULATED TEA- OR COFFEEPOT. THE IVORY STONEWARE POT IS FITTED INSIDE A CHROME, FELT-LINED OUTER CONTAINER TO KEEP WARM.
THE LID OF THE POT IS ATTACHED TO THE CHROME LID AND THERE'S FELT BETWEEN THE TWO LIDS AS WELL.
THE BALL FEET AND HANDLE ON THE LID ARE IN IVORY PLASTIC. THE WHOLE LID SNAPS SHUT TIGHTLY WITH THE CATCH ON THE FRONT. THE ENTIRE ITEM CAN BE TAKEN APART FOR CLEANING.
THE BOTTOM OF THE POT IS MARKED EVERHOT AND THE PATENT NUMBER. THE BOTTOM OF THE CHROME CONTAINER IS MARKED PBB MADE IN ENGLAND.
THIS IS A FUN VINTAGE TEAPOT TO HAVE.

CONDITION:
HAIRLINE CRACK ON INSIDE OF POT AND ON LID VISIBLE. IT APPEARS TO NOT BE LEAKING AND CAN STILL BE USED. CERAMIC POT FELT OUTER LINING APPEARS STUCK TO CHROME SHELL I DID NOT TRY TO FORCE IT.

Everhot is a British engineering success story, built over four decades in the Cotswold hills of South Gloucestershire England.
In the mid 1970s inventor and engineer Ossie Goring was concerned by how much energy his heat storage cooker was using and, living at the water mill, he decided to set about creating an environmentally friendly electric range cooker which could run off the water turbine he had installed.
A few years and many kitchen product lines later, Ossie had perfected energy efficient design, which allowed Everhots products to use a fraction of energy compared to other similar items.
