THIS LISTING IS FOR A VINTAGE TIMEX EXPEDITION INDIGLO ANA-DIGI QUARTZ MENS WATCH.
 
This vintage Timex T48601 Expedition wristwatch for men is a reliable timepiece that combines analogue and digital display. With a quartz movement, this watch features a two-piece nylon and canvas strap in brown colour, Arabic numeral indices on a cream-coloured dial.
 
The watch has a water resistance of 50 metres (5 ATM) and comes with features like an LCD display, central second, date indicator, seconds hand, multifunction, day indicator, luminous hands, timer, backlight, alarm, acrylic crystal, 12-hour dial, day/date, and push/pull crown.

Timex introduced the Indiglo night light during the Christmas shopping season in 1992. Indiglo made headlines as a result of the February 26, 1993 World Trade Center bombing in which an office worker wearing a Timex with an Indiglo night light used its light to guide a group of evacuees down 40 dark flights of stairs.
 
While the past 30 years have seen Indiglo dials spread to nearly every Timex model, the invention itself represented a technological revolution in the history of watchmaking.

CONDITION: SOME SCRATCHES TO DIAL FACE. BEZEL HAS SOME MINOR FADING TO LETTERS. STILL IN GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION. NEEDS A NEW BATTERY THOUGH. NOT TESTED WITH A NEW BATTERY BUT IT BELONGED TO A PILOT AND SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN WELL TAKEN CARE OFF.
