Vintage 28 piece Royal Albert Val D'or coffee set - discontinued. I would date this lovely coffee set to the 1960s. The set features white bone china with ridges and a premium gold trim. The inspiration for the pattern came from the city Val d'Or in Quebec, Canada, where a gold deposit was discovered in 1923. The set consists of.

• A coffee pot and lid measuring 24cm (high) x 20cm (wide from handle to spout).
• 12 coffee cups measuring 7cm (high) x 7.5cm (diameter).
• 12 saucers measuring 12cm in diameter.
• A creamer standing 9cm high. 
• A sugar bowl measuring 5.5cm (high) x 9cm (diameter).

The set is in good condition - no chips or cracks, with no gilding wear (looks hardly used). Only flaw noted is a little staining on the inner bottom of 1 of the cups. Set is ideal for formal or informal use. Great buy for your home.
