VINTAGE 4664 !? Victorian Silver Plated Toast Rack with 5 bars and Ring Handle

Although I call this Vintage it is possible from the research Ive done on it that it is Older

The Toast Rack rests upon 4 Perfectly Round Ball Feet and is stamped on the Underside in TWO places.    One has a Hallmark Stamped but I cannot see it clearly as it is quite faded from age.  The other side has the Number   "4664" stamped.     A remarkable coincidence as this was ACTUALLY Nelson Mandels Prison Number on Robben Island.    His prison number was NOT 46664 as most people have been led to believe, but rather 4664.

This Toast Rack is a PERFECT item for a Mail Holder or Letter Organizer.....but works EQUALLY well when used as Decor

It has faint traces of Vintage Patina (VERY faint) but is otherwise in PERFECT condition with NO rust, damages or any bending
