 Very rare, very collectible and in very fine condition and runs well. This Cyma 17 jewel watch from the late 1940's is a true specimen of quality Swiss watchmaking. It has a solid 9 kt gold 3 piece case with deer style lugs measuring 35 mm including crown and 45 mm lug to lug. A big size in those days. You are wondering why the title Big Pilot Watch. The image in the steel casing is his Daddy who was sold on auction for an undisclosed amount on an international auction site. Same hands and sub second dial and labeled as a Big Pilot Watch. Well this one has its seconds marked around the seconds indices and is encased in gold very rare in Cyma watches. A stunning watch that I have had in my collection for a long time. I would have liked to give you the movement caliber number but that not easy to find as it hidden under balance wheel and as this watch runs great I am not going there.
