The vintage 9ct yellow gold and shell cameo brooch has an oval shell cameo (34mm x 25mm), of a lady in a classical style, finely carved, and set in a plain 9ct gold rub-over setting. The frame is marked 9CT. The needle is gold. There is a bale to enable the item to be worn alternatively as a pendant, and there is a loop for the attachment of a safety chain.
