Vintage 9ct Gold Metal Core Oval Locket by JS (John Shaw) – 100% Complete with All Frames & Lenses

A beautifully preserved, mid-20th-century vintage oval photo locket. This piece features stunning, crisp hand-engraved scrollwork and traditional botanical motifs on the front face, with a smooth, engine-turned reverse side. It was manufactured by the renowned British silversmith/jeweller John Shaw (JS) in Birmingham, England, and imported to South Africa. Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful, natural aged patina. Minor surface micro-scratches on the reverse side consistent with age, which adds to its authentic vintage character. The gold casing is thick and shows no signs of base metal bleeding through. Perfect as a sentimental gift, a historical addition to a jewellery collection, or for everyday wear on a gold chain.

Maker's Mark: Authentically stamped on the reverse with "9CT METAL CORE" alongside the official "JS" manufacturer shield emblem.
