Vintage 9ct Gold Zeeta Clasp

The round, vintage, 9ct gold, tongue-and-box clasp is made by Zeeta, and supports a three-strand, artificial pearl necklace (44, 46 and 49 pearls respectively; the pearls are round; 8.5-9.0mm diameter; light cream with good lustre; pearls in reasonable condition, with some wear). The clasp has a textured front, and sides and back with piercing decoration. The clasp is marked "9CT; ZEETA". Zeeta is a jewellery manufacturer that operated in Bulawayo, Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) in the 2^nd half of the 20^th Century.
