DESCRIPTION:
An off-white glazed china plate, decorated with a central motif of the Coat of Arms of
the parliament of the Union of South Africa - British Royal Crown, crossed mace and
sceptre, quartered shield of the four colonies: Cape of Good Hope, Natal, Transvaal
and the Orange Free State, within a mottled blue and gilt border, gilt edged rim.
MARKS:
Crown, Dunn Bennett & Co Ltd., Burslem and Made in England.
CONDITION:
No chips, cracks or crazing, with some wear and scratches to gilt decoration.
DIMENSIONS:
Approximately 20 cm diameter X 1.5 cm height.
