DESCRIPTION:
An off-white glazed china saucer, decorated with a central motif of the Coat of Arms of
the parliament of the Union of South Africa - British Royal Crown, crossed mace and
sceptre, quartered shield of the four colonies: Cape of Good Hope, Natal, Transvaal
and Orange Free State, within mottled blue and floral gilt borders, gilt edged rim.
MARKS:
Crescent, G J & Sons, George Jones & Sons and Made in England.
CONDITION:
No chips, cracks or crazing, with some wear and scratches to gilt decoration.
DIMENSIONS:
Approximately 14 cm diameter X 2.5 cm height.
