A highly collectible graduated two-piece nesting set. Thick, heavy-gauge opaque white opal glass bodies. Featuring Elegant diagonally sculpted spiral/swirl ribbing covering the exterior walls. The flared rim design provides a classic mid-century presentation.
The "White Swirl" pattern line was originally introduced by the Anchor Hocking Glass Corp. in Lancaster, Ohio, USA, during the late 1950s? Crafted from authentic, space-age Fire-King heat-resistant milk glass, these bowls were engineered to withstand heavy hand-mixing, electric beaters, and high oven temperatures without cracking.
This beautifully paired kitchen set features a graduated mid-century design sequence. Finding these utilitarian mixing pieces with their factory gloss fully intactwithout the dull, cloudy finish caused by harsh modern dishwashersis a major win for retro kitchen purists and mid-century culinary collectors.
Original Intended Use: Large-scale cake batter mixing, egg-white whipping, and hot table dessert service.
Made in USA, Circa 1950s -1960s.
Condition: Excellent vintage structural condition. High-gloss finish inside and out with beautiful, clean milk-white consistency. No chips, cracks, or hairline fractures.
Visible Flaws: Minor age-related wear.
Features light, superficial interior utensil track marks consistent with honest vintage kitchen use.
The embossed text on the larger bowl's base shows slight factory mold-wear blurring, which is standard for mid-century machine-pressed glass.
