Vintage art deco 4 piece Sterling silver tea & coffee set - 1,9 kg. This lovely art deco tea and coffee set is Sterling silver with bekelite handles on the tea and coffee pot. It is hallmarked J.T & Co (John Turton & Co), crown (Sheffield), lion passant (Sterling silver) and W (1964). The items are large - teapot is 30cm (w) x 13cm (h), coffee pot is 23cm (w) x 17cm (h), sugar bowl 17cm (w) x 9cm (h) and the creamer 15cm (w) x 9cm (h). They are also heavy, with the teapot weighing 781g, the coffee pot 698g, the sugar bowl 235g and the creamer 187g - a total weight of 1,9 kg. The set is in very good condition - all hinges and handles are intact and working well. There is a pin head size dent on the side of the teapot and another underneath the teapot, but otherwise clean. Great buy.
