These vintage earrings were obtained from a vintage jeweller in London. Crafted in 8ct gold, with an Art Deco design - a central sphere with a semi-circular 'fan' cutting across the sphere. The fan does not lie flat, the convex round section is directly on the end of the pin, and the fan stands out at a ninety degree angle, giving a contoured end result. A small, sparkling, round cut white gemstone tops each of the wings. No idea what the stones are - they test for natural (not cubic zirconia) so most likely white topaz. Sadely, not diamonds! Measuring 18mm long x 18mm wide, the earrings weigh 1,96 grams and bear the 333 hallmark indicating 8ct gold. (Popular with vintage jewellers in England, 333 indicates 33,3% pure gold in the alloy). A most unusual pair of gold stud earrings!
