A breathtaking 22-piece Plant Tuscan China tea set, made in England circa 1936+, from the renowned R. H. & S. L. Plant pottery of Longton, Staffordshire. This fine bone china design features crisp ivory-white porcelain with striking 22K gold zigzag borders and gently scalloped square plates. Each piece is light, translucent, and beautifully elegant almost glasslike in appearance.

Historical Note
Produced by R. H. & S. L. Plant Ltd, manufacturers at the Tuscan Works, Longton from 18981966. The Plant Tuscan China backstamp predates the Wedgwood acquisition (1966), making this set a true pre-war collectible. The company later became Royal Tuscan, a division of Wedgwood, before closing in 2006.
