 VINTAGE ART DECO RECTANGULAR FACETED GREEN
STONE? 9CT YELLOW GOLD RING. 375. WELL HALLMARKED.

This vintage Art Deco piece features a rectangular faceted green stone? solitaire claw set in 9ct yellow gold. Set on a simple band that is narrower under the finger for comfort, it deepens on the shoulders, supporting the 7mm wide x 9mm long ring head, and the claws are larger than usual, holding the gemstone 6mm above the finger. The piece bears the hallmark 375 indicating 9ct gold, the jeweller's signature and ?? The piece weighs a good 2.66 grams and is in good condition. A clean, modern piece - spectacular on the hand!
