A classic art deco style ring, this piece features a 0,15 carat emerald-cut dark blue sapphire, bezel set in 9ct yellow gold and surrounded 14 round-cut diamonds claw set in a squared-off oval shape (10mm up x 8mm across). The ring has a strong colour combination with the dark blue sapphire against warm yellow gold contrasting with ice-white diamonds. A slim shank supports the cage that holds the ring head. The ring is hallmarked with '375' indicating 9ct gold, the jeweller's signature and the Birmingham Assay mark. The gemstones have been authenticated by an independent jeweller and the piece has been valued at R 8'848. Elegant and classic!
