From the highly respected Longines, Wittnauer company a very rare and stunning watch from the 40's era. It has a 10 kt gold filled curvex deco wavy case with thick scalloped lugs and st/steel back that measures 28mm X 32mm excluding crown and lugs. Has a high grade Swiss made 17 jewel movement that has been fully serviced and runs well. A very difficult watch to photograph as it has a very unusual crystal that is beveled into 3 sections and makes some images seem distorted. This watch shows very little wear for its close to 80 years. I have put it on a vintage quality Speidel expanding strap as they seem to go well together but the winning bidder can have a new leather strap if that is what they prefer.
A very rare Wittnauer from a bygone era. Vintage watches like this are very hard to come by and will always show there class and originality. Released as a mans watch but by to days standards also suitable for women. This watch is way nicer than images portray.
