Walter was awarded the Queen's Service Medal in 1986 in honor of the man who gave a lifetime's dedication to crafts and his local community.
The particular spinning machine on sale was given to by Hermina Pieterse pre. 1945 and recognition to her efforts as social worker in Krugersdorp near Johannesburg.
