Vintage, Authentic Chanel CC Logo, Gold Plated Medallion Pendant (c1970-1974) #3633

This is a rare and beautiful, pre-loved, 18ct gold plated Coco Chanel CC Logo Medallion pendant.  It is marked on the back with the copyright symbol followed by CHANEL and is also numbered 3633. This specific Chanel mark was used from around 1970 to 1974 when 'Made in France' was added to the mark. This pendant would have originally been dangling from an authentic Chanel Chain, however the chain has sadly been lost to time. As with other Chanel costume jewellery this pendant is probably made from Sterling Silver however we have not tested it specifically. Preliminary tests would indicate that it is indeed silver.  

This is a well loved pendant and does have some wear to the plating but it does not detract from this pendant, in our opinion it in fact adds to its charm. Besides the slight rubbing to the plating this pendant is in an excellent vintage condition, a true testament to the high quality Coco Chanel jewellery are known for. It has a diameter of about 2.5 cm and is approximately 2.5mm thick.  This stunning Chanel pendant deserves to be loved again. A rare find you will not likely find again any time soon.
