Title: Vintage Belleek Swan Parian Figurine.
Manufacturer: Belleek, Made In Ireland.
Height: 8.5cm
Length: 11cm.
Depth: 6.5cm.
Info: Beautifully decorated Irish porcelain Swan figurine that could be used as a creamer but would be recommended as an ornamental piece due to the delicate nature of the porcelain. Most of the Belleek swans availbale do not have the same intricate decoration which makes this piece stand out a lot more.
Parian translucent finish on the inside of the swan.
The gold trim on the rim and neck decoration is in very good condition.
The small pottery village of Belleek in Fermanagh County, Ireland had local clay deposits that produced exceptionally translucent goods. It became known as Parian, a soft, mother of pearl glow that became associated with Belleek China.
The world took notice and since 1853, Belleek has been prized.
The markings consist of the sixth green mark which means it was produced between 1965 to 1980.
Condition: Excellent, there are no faults on the Swan at all.
