vintage Benedict watch with 17 jewels and an Incabloc shock protection system. The watch face has gold-tone markers and hands, and the dial has a slightly aged appearance.

Benedict was a Swiss watch manufacturer, and the "17 jewels" refers to the number of synthetic rubies used as bearings in the movement to reduce friction and wear. The Incabloc system is a shock-absorbing mechanism designed to protect the delicate balance wheel of the watch from damage.

These watches are considered highly collectible. Unsure if the watch is in working condition or not as its not currently running and I dont want to interfere with/compromise an antique, therefore Ive not tried to open it up etc. - buyer should therefore assume its not currently in running/working condition.
