In the late 1940's the Benrus watch company of New York released a range of ladies watches called EMBRACEABLE by the early 50's it was the best selling ladies watches in the U.S.A. The logo read as follows EMBRACEABLE, THE WAY TO A WOMAN'S HEART. AMERICAS BEST SELLING WOMEN WATCH.
Well I am proud to offer this watch and it is in showroom condition in its 10 karat gold filled casing which measures, watch section including crown 20mms X 36mms and the widest part of the cuff section is 13mms. NOW FOR THE IMPORTANT PART, THIS WATCH IS A SMALL SIZE AND WILL FIT A WRIST NO BIGGER THAN 15CMS IN DIAMETER. So please measure your wrist or the person you intend buying it for. It is a cuff style watch and the 2 cuffs on either side are spring loaded for easy opening when you put it on.
This beauty is 5 times signed on each cuff, back , movement and dial. It has a Swiss made quality 17 jeweled mechanical movement that runs nicely and keeps good time even though I do not know when it was last serviced. Which means ladies that you have to wind it. The design, quality, crystal and condition is unbelievable for a watch 60 odd years old and I am sure that this watch was only taken out on the rarest of occasions. I can tell you that I have seen very few Embraceable watches as nice as this 1. To crown it all the watch comes in its original box.
