Early Circular Beswick Markings on two of the pieces

A set of three traditional Beswick flying ducks. Beautiful colours and detail as you would expect from the famous Beswick factory. Designed by Mr Watkins and produced by Beswick between 1938 and 1973.

Above Photo - Smallest Size: 18cm x 18cm - VERY RARE

596/3 is in Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. 

569-3 has a posy pocket pocket between the wings which I believe is quite rare. Early Circular Beswick Marking - Made before 1926

Above Photo: Medium Size: 26cm x 26cm. Also a RARE Piece

Early Beswick Circular Marking not shown in the photo above but is on this piece - "Made in England" dates it to after 1926 and from research it dates to roughly 1938.

596/1 is in Excellent condition with no chips or cracks

Extra Large Size: 30cm x 30cm. It does not have the incised number on it but it is the Biggest of the Mallard Ducks normally numbered 596/4.

This is the only piece that has been damaged at sometime in the past and repaired. Below is a photograph showing a mairline developing on the wing and the feet have repaired from a clean break. Not very noticable and does not detrack from it's beauty.

Repair to wind is shown above and the repair to the feet are the same.
