This vintage Bakers biscuit tin is a real South African classic. The lid features a striking black background with a colourful basket of spring flowers in full bloom a cheerful design that makes it just as appealing as décor as it once was for biscuits. The sides are patterned with a cream and yellow basket-weave motif, adding to its nostalgic charm.

The tin is marked Bakers Ltd., 14 Brickhill Rd., Durban and originally held 2lb of Choice Assorted Biscuits. It measures approximately 26cm x 18cm x 7cm. The inside is clean with natural age patina, and the embossed "BAKERS LTD" on the base and interior adds authenticity.

Condition is very good for its age, with light surface wear and edge scuffing consistent with decades of use, but no damage. A lovely piece of vintage South African advertising history, perfect for collectors or as a decorative storage tin with character.
