BLACK ONYX AND MARCASITE STERLING
SILVER RING
 
A very striking ring! The diamond shaped natural black onyx pieces have been set into a sterling silver ring, and are surrounded by 1 mm round marcasites. The ring is set with three diamond shaped onyx gemstones in the centre, and two pyramid shaped onyx gemstones along either side. The marcasite stones which frame each onyx piece, create an interesting contrast against the black. The ring is sterling silver ( hallmarked 925 ). At 5,3 grams, it is a solid piece of jewellery with a nice strong feel to it!

Black Onyx is the birthstone for the zodiac signs of Gemini and Leo, and is known to enhance steadfastness and determination, setting ones mind to a task. Marcasite is said to promote intelligence and creativity, as well as block negative energy.
