Vintage blue Ambassadeur Abu Sweden 8500 fishing reel. This old Swedish made reel dates to 1974 - serial number on the foot is 740600. It is royal blue in colour with a black metal spool. It is quite a rear reel, only having been produced for 2 years in limited numbers. Mechanically, the reel is quite sound, but it does have some wear aesthetically. The spool does not have any chips or cracks. Great buy for the angler.
