Vintage Bohemian Claw-set Faceted Glass Crystal Emerald Teardrop Pendant in silver tone mount c1950

This mid-century emerald glass crystal pendant is simply fantastic. It is based on the classic Art Nouveau design from the early 1900s. The teardrop crystal is hand set in a silver plated prong setting and the crystal is covered with gold foil in the back to enhance the play of light. It is in a very good vintage condition with some wear to the mount consistent with use and its 70 year old age. There is however no damage to the crystal nor the mount. This is a pendant only and does not include a chain.

The crystal measures approximately 3 cm X 2 cm. With the chain loop it measures about 4.5 cm. A bold, statement pendant, and very collectible piece of jewellery.
