Vintage Boxed Chrome-Plated Cake Fork Set - Made in England (6 Piece)

These forks were produced as a Souvenir of the Union Jubilee in 1960. The emblems represent the four original provinces that joined together in 1910 to form the Union:

• Cape Province: Usually represented by a Female Figure (Hope) leaning on an anchor.
• Natal: Represented by Two Wildebeests (Gnu) in full gallop.
• Transvaal: Represented by a traditional Ox Wagon.
• Orange Free State: Represented by an Orange Tree.
• National Symbol: One or two of the forks often feature the 1910 Coat of Arms, which includes a lion holding four bound staves (representing the four provinces united).
