Vintage Boxer London Made Bulldog Estate Pipe.

A vintage, quality estate pipe in the straight bulldog shape.  Stamped "Boxer, London Made" to the shank. Has a removeable "stinger", which is a condensing element of metal placed in the airway. Hot tobacco smoke passes through it, and the cooler condenser is supposed to draw (condense) the moisture on to it, and filter some heavier floating particulates from the air stream. The pipe is in overall good vintage condition. I have on auction a large estate lifelong collection of quality tobacco smoking pipes dating from the 1950's to 1980's.  Apart from 3 or 4 of them (faults mentioned specifically) the condition is good to very good.  The collection has clearly been well-maintained and lovingly cared for.
