Vintage brass Bostrom-Brady Mfg. Co. model 4 theodolite in original box. I would date this old surveying transit to about 1935. It is manufactured from brass, along with an iron pendulum weight. The tag on the box is marked "Bostrom Surveying Instruments, Model No. 4, Serial No. 47, Bostrom-Brady Mfg. Co., Atlanta, Ga, U.S.A". The theodolite is in good working condition. It comes in its original dovetailed wooden box, and has the user instructions (instructions are a bit grubby). Great buy.
