Vintage Brass Ecclesiastical Candlestick.
This very attractive solid brass Ecclesiastical candlestick with it's flat, circular shape would make a lovely table center piece holding a rounded candle.
A red candle would look particularly festive surrounded by a wreath of 'holly and ivy' for a classic Christmas table decoration.
Although we cannot be sure of its it does have some age to it. We do know that it once belonged to St. Mary's Convent in Woodstock, Cape Town.
The brass is shiny and un-pitted. . It is in very good condition. Nice and sturdy. There are a few black oxidation marks to the top part of the surface of the brass.
It is unmarked at the base.
