A superb Ernst Leitz 20X microscope from the early 1900s, with a solid brass column, focus wheels and table.

It has a very heavy metal base. Features a swiveling mirror with a white reflector on the other side. The table remains stationary, while the lens moves up and down.

All in very condition, some rubbing to the paint of the base. Optics are excellent. Mirror and reflector also excellent. Stands 130mm when down, 170mm when the rack is fully extended.

PLEASE NOTE: the table is also made of solid brass, but is at present painted/anodised - will leave it up to buyer to choose whether to polish it or not.
