This is a vintage brass belt buckle from the 1970's with a portion of the Beer advertisement/poster for Meuse designed by Alphonso Mucha titled Bieres de la Meuse set under a layer of resin. Alfons Maria Mucha (24 July 1860 - Prague, 14 July 1939), often known in English and French as Alphonse Mucha, was a Czech Art Nouveau painter and decorative artist known best for his distinct style. He produced many paintings, illustrations, advertisements, postcards, and designs. The buckle is marked 'Masterwork'. It is in an excellent vintage condition with no damage to report.
It measures approximately 5.6 cm X 5.6 cm.
