For sale is a vintage solid brass "trence style" storm light with a great natural patina. This is a high-quality mid-to-late 20th-century replica of the iconic 1927 Australian IMCO w indproof design, featuring a sliding wind sleeve and a removable candle-style fuel tank.
The Logo and History:
For total transparency, this is a vintage collectors replica, not a military item. The sides feature the "Mermaid with mirror and Comb" stamp from Authentic Models (Holland). This is the exact same brass lighter and model used for South Africa's vintage Klipdrift brandy promotions, but carries the factory's own original mermaid brand.
Condition:
The body is solid brass with authentic age wear.
The flint wheel turns smoothly, but currently does not spark and possibly needs a fresh flint replacement.
