Utilised for packing and distribution of ordnance by the Royal Army Service Corps for mortar rounds for the Ordnance ML 3 Inch Mortar during the Second World War. The Ammunition box was often also used for Grenades and for other ammunition such as for the PIAT.
Condition: Fair, a bit banged up, lid and hinges as well as the side handles are intact.
