BRITISH STERLING SILVER RING. WELL HALLMARKED.
This English made piece is well crafted with good detail. A narrow shank forks into two on each shoulder ending with a leaf on each that supports a beautifully detailed very three-dimensional rose that has many layers of petals, each scored with grooves to add texture. This piece bears all the pedigree hallmarks of British sterling silver, the jeweller's signature, the Sheffield assay hallmark and the date mark for 1979. Surprisingly heavy at 4,15 grams, it's weight and solidity is belied by the delicacy and beauty of the detailed rose. A feminine and lovely collectable piece of English sterling silver jewellery.
