On offer is a beautiful vintage ladies' Camy automatic mechanical timepiece in working condition.
This circa late 1960s - early 1970's Camy Seven Seas 25 jewels automatic ladies' watch features a white dial, a gold-plated stainless steel case, and original crown.
Comes with head only as per pictures.
Dimensions:
Case width (excluding crown): 22 mm, lug width: 11 mm, lug to lug: 29 mm.
Dial and Hands:
Features a white dial in good condition (some loss of lacquer on the edges, please see picture). Raised gold hour markers with black minute markers. The dial is marked "Camy", "25 jewels", "Automatic and "T Swiss Made T", with a non-quick-set date window at 3 o'clock (date text in black). Gold hour, minute, and second hands.
Case, Crown and Crystal :
The gold-plated case is in good overall condition (no dents), although it shows some age-related wear to the gold-plating and scratches. The stainless steel caseback is Camy-signed, and the gold-plated crown is also Camy-signed. The acrylic crystal has some scratches.
Movement :
ETA 2651 (automatic, date) 25 jewels, not signed Camy on the rotor. It is running well (all functions operational), but has not been tested for accuracy. Service history is unknown.
Please note: Camy did not manufacture their own movements in-house. They often relied on makers like ETA. Camy-signed rotors were standard on upper-tier or late-vintage models, but many standard production runs left the factory only with the base movement's manufacturer stamp under the balance wheel.
