The "Cape Doctor," a strong southeasterly wind, is known for creating a "tablecloth" of cloud over Table Mountain in Cape Town. This occurs when the wind pushes warm, moist air up the mountain's slopes, causing it to cool and condense into cloud formations. The resulting cloud formation looks like a tablecloth draped over the mountain's flat top.
