Vintage CASE XX SS USA 1836 Bowie Knife original sheath 9.5" blade

The front tang is stamped: Case XX - USA - 1836 and the blade has an nice etch of Davy Crockett holding a Bowie Knife. This Case Big Bowie knife was made as a reproduction of the one Case made as a survival and fighting knife during World War II.  It is a massive Case knife. It comes with a Genuine Black Leather Sheath with gorgeous brass plating on the end and side. The model number is 1836. The knife is 13 1/2" long. The clip blade is 9 1/2" long. The blade is Highly Polished Tru-Sharp Surgical Stainless Steel. It has a Mirror Polished Brass Finger Guard and a black handle with three brass rivets. The blade also has a brass plate that covers the top edge which makes in very unique. The knife is mint and comes with a genuine leather. It has never been sharpened or used. This is one of the largest knives Case makes and it is made in the USA. When you grip this knife in your hand you know you have got a quality knife.
