DESCRIPTION:

A mid 20thC glazed porcelain incense jar and lid in the form of a three leg cauldron,
on a carved wood stand, hand decorated with a five clawed Imperial Dragon and mythical
Phoenix chasing the sacred pearl, in a palette of iron-red, green and cobalt blue enamels.

MARKS:

Red bordered paper label printed: Made in China and hand-written number R/R 2089.

CONDITION:

No cracks or crazing, with a small chip to rim of cover (see close-up image).

DIMENSIONS:

Approximately 7.5cm in diameter at widest point X 12.5cm in height including stand.
