Rare in this condition Clarice Cliff 989 Shape Cherry Tree Vase. Tapered Ovoid Form. Base is mushroom in colour with the tree being stunning shades of browns and greens. The blossoms are beautifully blended in purples and blues. When I received this vase it was truly a WOW moment for me. The pictures had not done it justice and as I opened it, I felt like a little girl again. Pure unadulterated joy.

There are no chips, cracks and no crazing which is amazing for its age. There is a bit of what looks like rust on the bottom on the inside (I didn't want to try to remove it). I think it could be from an oasis. It might not even be rust, but I was not putting my big hands in that hole.

Although I am a passionate lover of vintage and antique treasures, I am not an expert antiques dealer and can, on occasion, mistakenly identify items. I try my best and spend a lot of time researching every piece, as this is the passion that drives me - the history and stories behind each piece. Pieces may contain imperfections, as is common with wear and age. I select items that pull at my heart. Sometimes these blemishes add to the character and personality of the piece and I fall in love with it, flaws and all. I do my best to show and/or describe the imperfections that I find so you can decide if it's something you will fall in love with as well.
